This Privacy Policy describes how WOOFING POSSUM INSPIRATIONS PTY LTD collects, uses, and shares data when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information in a transparent, secure, and lawful manner.

We collect three types of data when you use our app:

• Device Identifiers

• Advertising Identifier (IDFA) provided by Apple to serve and measure third-party ads.

• Advertising Data

• Ad impressions, clicks, and basic app usage metrics captured by the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

• Audio Data

• Short voice recordings you submit for in-app speech transcription using Apple’s Speech Recognition API. This audio is processed in real time and not stored on our servers.

We use your information for the following purposes:

• Third-Party Advertising

• Device ID and Advertising Data power personalized ad delivery and performance measurement via Google Mobile Ads.

• App Functionality

• Audio Data is used only to convert your spoken questions into text and drive the voice-input feature. We do not store or link voice recordings to your identity.

Linked Data

• Device Identifiers and Advertising Data are linked to your device’s Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and therefore considered “linked to you.”

• Audio Data is not linked to your identity and is discarded immediately after transcription.

• Tracking

• We and our third-party partners use Device Identifiers and Advertising Data for tracking purposes to target ads and measure ad effectiveness.

• Audio Data is not used for tracking or profiling.

We share or grant access to your data only with the following service providers:

• Apple Inc. for speech-to-text processing via the Speech Recognition API.

• Google LLC for ad serving and reporting via the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

These partners are contractually bound to process your data only for the purposes described above and to maintain appropriate security measures.

• Device and Advertising Data

We retain identifiers and ad-related metrics for as long as necessary to support ad delivery and analytics, in accordance with our agreements with Google.

• Audio Data

We do not store audio recordings. Transcriptions exist only in-memory during your current session and are deleted immediately after processing.

• Opting Out of Tracking

You can disable ad tracking by visiting your device’s Settings → Privacy → Tracking and toggling off “Allow Apps to Request to Track.”

• Access and Deletion

You may request access to the data we hold about you or ask us to delete it by emailing admin@trilobytestudios.com.au

• Changes to Your Consent

If you change your mind about marketing communications or tracking, follow the in-app prompts or contact us directly.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. While no system is completely secure, we continually review and enhance our security practices.

Our app is designed for users aged 4 and up. We take special care with data from children under 13 in accordance with applicable privacy laws (e.g., COPPA in the U.S.).

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

• If we learn that we’ve inadvertently received personal data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it from our systems.

• We do not use collected data—device identifiers, advertising data, or audio—for behavioral advertising or profiling of children under 13.

• Parents or guardians may review or request deletion of their child’s data by contacting us at admin@trilobytestudios.com.au

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post the updated policy with a new “Last updated” date. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notices or email.
